| Hospital Visits: Bringing some hope and joy to the sick. Good Shepherd Hospital, with 125 beds and the only hospital for the 200,000 people of this region, is located a few miles from the school. Most of the patients are inflicted by HIV. The HIV outpatient clinic serves hundreds of locals every day. Visiting the children's ward, were the children use bed sheets for clothes, is always a sad experience. We try to fit these visits is as much as possible. We wish for a volunteer that would like to be part of this and the home visit ministry. Home Visits: Bringing change to a community, by showing them that we care. We often find people in live threatening situations, that we try to change. Most of the time they need basic things like food, care, medicine and advice. Often we find children living with no adult supervision, fending for themselves. |
